Our first anniversary

We chose July 1st, 2024. Going backwards a year, I met someone online. I think we both thought it was such a long shot to end up together. But he called me on July 1st 2023 and we were together from that moment forward. Albeit 2000 miles apart.

After a year, were celebrating our first anniversary. I planned a special date. Stargazing in the absolute middle of nowhere. We laid out there for hours. I think we covered any and every topic we could think of. It easily became one of the defining moments of our relationship. Despite it being July we were freezing. The time spent together was worth the numb fingers.
