The Review
The watch is perfectly sized at 40mm for my wrist, both the provided leather strap and the titanium strap with the butterfly clasp are amazing and comfortable. The blue aventurine watch face backing is stunning, and I like how in general it leans towards a darker black style unless directly exposed to light. It’s also stunning when glowing in the dark. I’m super happy with the timepiece, glad I can honor my dads birthday with the mapping, and look forward to purchasing a full auto movement one soon (my current is regular quartz movement).
The watch arrived a few days ago, and my first thought when I opened the box was simply: wow, this looks awesome.
I bought it as a gift to myself for my 50th birthday, which is coming up soon. I wanted something special to mark the occasion — not necessarily the most expensive watch, but something that would have a character of its own and that I would genuinely enjoy wearing.
